Re: Games you are looking forward to?

Halo ODST is a must for me, not sure about not be a Spartan or having old Cortana. It just wont be the same kicking covenant arse without Cortana whispering in my ear.

I heard PGR5 is a 100%, but it isn't Bizarre doing it, some unknown (atleast by me) developer. Of course with the internet you can never trust anything somebody mumbles.

I hope Rainbow isn't in Vegas again. That would be a total Cop out.

The game I really want to play this year is Crackdown 2. I haven't a clue if its on the cards.

Re: Games you are looking forward to?

Crackdown 2 would be on my list too, I think it's been whispered that it's 'probable' but Realtime Worlds are developing 'APB', so it could be in the pipeline after that has come out.

Otherwise...

Fuel (but that may not be as good as it looks.)
Alan Wake (I shall be old and grey by the time that appears.)
Bioshock 2
PGR 5 (if it 'felt' like PGR3 or 2, but since Bizarre Creations won't be doing it, then who knows...)

Re: Games you are looking forward to?

Forza 3
PGR5
Mass Effect 2
Tales of Vesperia
Star Ocean : the Last Hope
Final Fantasy XIII
Ghostbusters
Velvet Assassin
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Bioshock 2

On a slightly bemusing note if the Wii and PS3 were brought into consideration it would not actually change that list for me o_O The only other machine that seems to keep giving the 'ooh I want that...' factor at the moment is the DS with various excellent RPGs coming into play.

Re: Games you are looking forward to?

You know I might be alone on this one but.......been looking forward to having a go on Leisure Suit Larry. I know its out already but there has been no mention of it on here that I can see. From what I read the lad who devised it all those years ago is long gone and all of the great humour of the orginals with him. Eitherway I will give it a look, worst case scenario I get some easy cheevos.

I think you are alone on this one. I haven't looked on other sites but I'm fairly sure that gamespot reviewed it at 2.5/10.

I'm really excited for Tales of Vesperia. It's the only one coming out any time soon that I expect to buy on release day. There Final Fantasy too but that's not out for a long time now.

Re: Games you are looking forward to?

This is strange.....

I was expecting more people interested in Operation flashpoint 2.

This game looks really, really good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFVKGH-q10A

OPERATION FLASHPOINT : DRAGON RISING ™| CODEMASTERS

Ofcourse there is MW2 which will (god I hope it will) be fantastic.

Oh, and the new need for speed is looking rather nice to. Kinda has a Grid feel to it.

I had a feeling you'd say something bad about PS3. You usually do. My Xbox 360 looks like it will be taking a gap year while my PS3 will be getting a workout from plenty of multiplatform games and exclusives.

Out of your list i'll def be getting Ghostbuster and Bioshock 2. Both on PS3.

tekken 6. Long time coming but should be amazing. Preordered on PS3
prototype. Looks too similar to Infamous. Will prob get when its cheaper
batman:arkham asylum. Looks awesome
alan wake. Can't help thinking it will be like Too Human. EG long development time but awful game. Love to be proven wrong
halo 3:ODST. I love Halo but im not sure if its a new game or just an expansion pack. If its the later I dont think it will be as impressive as Halo 3 was.

This is made by Grin so I expect it will be like Wanted. Not a bad game but can be completed in a few hours.
