Grid was an excellent racer, mp was a bit rubbish due to cheaters but the single player was good.

i think there is going to be news on the sequel on the 8th.

i don't use cockpit view but even i think that is strange, it may put some people off who like to use that view, luckily i don't use it.

Lost interest when he mentioned that try have concentrated the handling model on gameplay with a pad.......switched off when he said they have removed cockpit view!

Based on that, plus the footage showing NFS esque gameplay, I don't think there is anything for me in this game.

Don't use the cockpit view, but seems weird they've left it out. The stuff they've given more time to after leaving the cockpit view out will have to be bloody good to make up for it!

I've been using in-car view since forza 3 and have found it the best for me in sim driving type games..

No in-car view in grid 2 means i'm out.

silly decision by coddies.

Been disappointed with pretty much every release from Codies since the original GRiD(shame as had been a fan of the Codies right from the old Spectrum days), did really enjoy that game though so will keep an eye. This looks very muscle car focused, hope they aren't moving away from the touring cars as they were my favourite events. I do tend to feel Codemasters aim to please the American market more than us Europeans these days.

im not making a judgement on it until i see some gameplay and hopefully a demo, however i hated the demo on the original grid and only got it because shuzzbutt talked me into buying it and then never got it himself.

Played the 2 tracks (PC) on the Eurogamer Expo and this already feels much better than Grid from a handling point of view.

One demo was with a wheel and the other with a pad and both were enjoyable and seem to strike a good balance between arcade action and serious driving. The demos certainly seemed to offer less 'pinball' driving than the original
