inferior lighting...i dont get you, what do you mean, was the ps3 using energy saving lighting??
but i suppose as you have played both versions through as well, you would be able to enlighten me, or are you just quoting others.. |
Well yes actually i have played both versions (As I do with most games including PC versions when possible), however neither all the way through as i thought it was quite a poor game really. Like i said each to their own so if you 'felt' that the PS3 version was technically a better version then that's your call.
For me the lack of AA on the PS3 version jumps right out of the screen at you. Neither version maintained solid frame rates but I'm sorry the 360 clearly maintained a higher frame rate from visual inspection alone.
As for lighting, I guess you're making a joke in your comment here, but to answer your question the PS3 seems to adopts a bloom type effect on lightened textures which results in a colour bleeding effect - which is dealt with better on the 360.
So no need for me to rely on others but on a quick read of Digitalfloundry and pretty much every other head to head review of the two version the findings reinforce my comments.
So consider yourself now informed rather than enlightened
