Dont think he really got it. He's not an fps nut so was struggling with the controls for a start and when I kept saying things to him like 'dont shoot the witch' he would say what witch? and 'why not?' To be fair it is easy to get overwhelmed on your first couple of playthroughs and its not until you know the game rules e.g. steer clear of witches, get to the safe house asap, shout TANNNKKK!!! whenever you here the music etc that you begin to appreciate what a masterpiece L4D is. |
Are you talking to me?!
I actually enjoyed it but don't think I'd play it solo and I do a fair bit of solo gaming or like to play coop games with people I know and a lot of my mates are even more casual gamers than me and not into FPS that much.
I can imagine in 4 player coop with some buddies, it would be amazing fun.
It does sometimes take me a little while to get up on the controls for shooters and it to "click".
Obsessed is too strong a word but you really get into your titles so I was probably a bit overwhelmed at all the information you were spouting when it was my first time playing it and you'd lived and breathed it for weeks.
I find those games a bit spooky too, so definitely a MP game for me.
