Criterion developing new Need For Speed

Criterion Developing Need For Speed Game - G4tv.com

It was only a matter of time really IMO - at least this one should run the way a NFS game should, no doubt they'll use the same game engine from Burnout Paradise so it should be pretty sweet.

It will be the first NFS game I would have bought in that case.

Wish they had Crash mode for Paradise, badly miss it as nobody else owns Revenge and plays Crash anymore.

Re: Criterion developing new Need For Speed

That's really interesting...but I guess that's why EA bought Criterion in the first place. Maybe Burnout Paradise was just a 'show us what you can do' before giving them the keys to the NFS franchise.

If it's as good as BP it will be the first NFS game I will have purchased too.

I know what you mean but i doubt Criterion had anything to prove to anyone in the industry, that's why EA snapped them up well before BP

This is true, they can't fail to be impressed with how Criterion have raised the bar. Some sort of NFS online world would be interesting...
