As we know guitar hero are releasing a new game on the 16th of June called Smash hits which includes everones favourites from the other games in the serious but my question is whether you have to use the guiat controller or whether you can also use the xbox 360 controller instead. They seem to have stopped you been able on the world tour and metalica version but i wasn't sure with this one.

No you wont. All these band games sincs the joypad to the mic so you wont be able to use it as a guitar.

Thats a bit crap, Its just another way for them to get even more money out of you. I got really good on the controller on gh3 and could get at least 90% on all expert songs with it. I got used to the guitar on world tour but thought the game was rubbish so sold it after a day so i didn't get very good with the guitar controller.

The game is actually called Guitar Hero Greatest Hits in the UK and is released on 19 June.
