2GB is quite big for a demo.

I dont know with this one i usually buy the tiger woods games for the 360 but the Wii version is using the new controller so i'm quite tempted to blow the dust of it and get that. Will try this demo out and give it a whirl first though.

Just played a couple of holes, very good. Didnt play '09 so cant comment on that but looks sweet.
Like the way u can see on ball where spin and power is on left can see as u swing how straight the backswing and downswing is with lines and arrows. Really good that is do like that, Putting got new weird system but get used to that.

Same here. I'll most likely pick up the Wii version with the MotioPlus attachment. I've heard good things about that. Not to mention Grand Slam Tennis on the Wii also uses the new adapter and is supposed to be good. I've downloaded the PS3 demo to check out the HD version.

09 was much better than 08 i enjoy playing tiger its always in my collection its good for a chill out in the evening over live with friends

Copied and pasted from ea's forums, my small impressions.

First impressions:

Can the trace line behind the ball be turned off in the full game, seems unrealistic (to those of us who never used the turbo button in 09).
Rain just seemed a visual thing with no effect on the fairway or green.
When raining having spectators in their t-shirts and shorts was weird, any chance of someone drawing up some umbrellas or raincoats, same with more variation in spectators, seems there is a lot of incest going on.
Liked the challenge mode, well done for making it remember your last club and shot aim when retrying a failed drive or putt.
Think I liked the newer putting mechanic better as well.

Agree, that's just poor. A real golf match goes quiet when it rains - a lot of the spectators head for the beer tent and those that stay behind don't clap much as you can't with yer umbrella up. I know I'm nitpicking but a bit of immersion wouldn't go amiss - these games hardly push the hardware, so some neat effects would really add to the atmosphere.

I'm not falling for this again this year.

IMO TW needs a major overhaul. Its been basically the same game since 03 but people keep buying it....

I must admit it seems the same old demo to me each year, not that I've bought any of the Tiger Woods games yet.

Wasn't particularly impressed with this one, although I'll likely make my first TW purchase on the Wii this year, with the motion plus attachment I think it could be something special

Its a real shame that there is nothing like Everybody's Golf on the 360.

Looks very silly, but it play a very realistic game of golf. For me, it utterly blows away Tiger Woods.

i'll probably still get it but play it then trade it in, however as i said i was really impressed with the 09 version and will pick up a cheap copy of that to keep.

Agree it's very good, but control and spin wise Everybodys golf is poor compared to Tiger woods, and it's just a fancy version of the PSP game tbh nothing to shout about really, and it lacks a proper swing mode, no-ones gonna play TW with the 3 click thing, bit of a waste as with Everybodys golf despite it still being good it needs proper swing mode imo.
This new TW seems spot on to me, lack of cash is the only reason stopping me getting it this time.

Agree whole heartedly with this, Everybody's golf is the best golf game on any console.

This demo for TW10 hasn't impressed me at all, it plays and looks nigh on like the last TW i played which was TW07 talk about money for old rope

To be fair most sports games are similar like that, few bits an bobs added and that's it probably finshed few months after last release.

And if i hadnt played the PS1 and PSP versions to death i would have played more than 3 rounds of the PS3 version (still have it tho), ie boring.lol.
Again apart from graphicly it's just the same game tweaked from what was it 1997-98? So again not much changed there either tbh, same as what happens with tiger, change it all too much and everyone will just moan even more really.

If Everybodys Golf had a brand new version with all proper pro courses and a proper swing mode id agree it could end up the best, untill then it's just boring cos it's changed so little, but then so has tiger and a lot of yearly release games are the same.
Good to have a Eveybodys Golf and a Tiger woods in the collection tho as they both decent games and this new one seems the best to me.

Yes, the spin mechanic is much more realistic in Tiger Woods.

Being able to apply spin after you have hit the ball, to bend it back on course is just like real golf.

For me, the old three click method is the only way to play a golf game. The updated version of this in Everybody's golf (PS3) is just about perfect.

That game is just so much fun to play. Almost worth buying a PS3 for.

You can turn these mechanics off though, and I always do, for a more realistic game. The one problem I've had with golf games on consoles is just how easy they are, I have no interest in going round in -15 every time!

But if you turn these things off and play on a tough difficulty then it provides a good challenge and in my opinion is a lot more fun as a result.

Fair point.

There is no doubt that Tiger Woods Golf is a very impressive, very well made Golf game. But I have always loved the Hot Shots/Everybody's Golf series, and for me its just a far more fun game.

I'm enjoying 09 but I'm not in the least bit tempted by 10 having played the demo.

And another Everybody's Golf fan here, that game is the sole reason I still have the PS2 hooked up to the TV. I can imagine getting a good few months of play out of a TW game but I've had years out of Everybody's Golf!
