Sam n Max

Has anyone taken the plunge and bought Sam'n'Max yet? The download seemed to be corrupt until the weekend, but I finally managed to give the demo ago on Monday and really enjoyed it. But at 1600 Pt$ I'm not sure I want to play it that much, is it worth it, or should I just keep my fingers crossed and hope it ends up in a sale?

Re: Sam n Max

1600MSP seems steep but you're getting 6 episodes, which is significantly better value than the Wallace of Gromit games, which will end up being 3200MSP for it's four episode series. Each episode takes a few hours to complete, so you're probably looking at 20 hours to finish, so again there's a lot of value involved.

If you enjoyed the demo, then I certainly think it's worth it. If the price is a real barrier though, you could always look into the PC option, which is probably even cheaper.

Re: Sam n Max

If you enjoy the demo, then go for it. I've got the Wii version, which was released on retail, and I paid £17.99 for mine, which I considered good value for money at the time.

Off topic, I've also heard somewhere that Telltale Games are working on a new Secret of Monkey Island installment, to be released on Wii and PC in July

Re: Sam n Max

Telltale are working on 2 Monkey Island games, a HD remake of The Secret Of Monkey Island coming to XBLA (there's an interview in the Spotlight section of your dashboard on Xbox Live, which looks really good) and then for the Wii they are making The Tales Of Monkey island, which may at some point end up coming over to the Wii.

At the moment, as far as I'm aware, The Secret of Monkey Island isn't coming to the Wii
