Anyone know if this is still coming out? Heard a rumour about it ages ago but nothing recently, thought there might have been an update at e3.

Team17s facebook says march - Team17 Software Ltd.'s Notes | Facebook but obviously march has gone now as the post was made in 2009 feb few other non offical forums say summer time but seems little to no info about it at the moment

had me exited though!

Cheers xxkronickxx, good bit of info there. The posts in that forum from only a couple of weeks ago sound promising.

The original games, particularly Alien Breed '92 and Alien Breed II, are among my favourite games ever, so a lovingly crafted XBLA remake sounds awesome!

Alien Breed Evolution Screenshots & Images /// Eurogamer - Games Reviews, News and More

Screen shots look pretty sweet, hope it has all the original strange noises in imposable time to escape after you blow the reactors!

There was a preview on Inside Xbox once, take a look at them and you might find it, i think they said the "supposed" Release Date.

OMG I can't believe the original game was out 18 years ago, I can remember getting it for my Amiga for xmas. Brought back loads of memories watching that video.

Will be purchasing on the 16th.....anyone for co-op????

will the original game be in aswell?

I hardly ever download arcade games but tried the trial of this and have to say I was quite impressed. Its only 800 points too, I think a lot of them are 1200 aren't they? It does say episode 1 or something tho so does that mean there be seperate downloads to come? Anyways I'm getting a 4200 point card for xmas so no doubt will prob buy this along with Shadow Complex

Only problem I have with this is that the aliens now look like giant fleas rather than the obviously Giger-inspired aliens from the original.

Downloaded this yesterday and must admit Im loving it so far. Only played in co op. Completed all but one of the levels listed. Taken about an hour to get this far.

Must admit that if there aren't any more levels I'd feel a little gutted.

Hopefully some more will unlock once Ive completed the next one.

Played the third level last night and it didn't unlock any more.

Really loved the gameplay but I'm a Bit gutted the co op campaign is so short.

I appreciate the single player campaign is probably longer (not 100% sure on this) but I mainly bought it to play co-op.

Probably won't buy episodes 2 and 3 unless they really add to the co-op.
