Question PDF conversion?

Hi all,

I'm not to sure if I have posted in the correct section.

Is it possiblt to convert a PDF back into it's orignal format?

I have a document created on Quark Express and has been converted to PDF. Is it possible to convert it back so it can be used again in Quark?

Thanks

Re: PDF conversion?

Not really...

You could try opening it in Adobe Illustrator - but there is no guarantee that weird things won't have been done to it when it was exported.

Re: PDF conversion?

Ideally you need Adobe Standard as this comes with the PDF writing capabilities.

If you have this open the PDF file go to the File menu select Export & chose 1of the appropriate options.

Re: PDF conversion?

Hi,

thanks for the reply.

I have tried what you suggested and that still will not work for me. Although I see where you are coming from. It's great if I wanted to convert back to Word etc, but there is not an option for me to convert back to a Quark Xpress format.
