How do i get rid of Avast permenently?

I have uninstalled Avast, and i have bought Kapersky but it wont let me load Kapersky until i have fully uninstalled Avast, i have gone into the registry but when i delete from there it says this.....

Cannot delete ALWIL software: Error while deleting key

Plus its still in my start up near the clock as a grey ball?

Any ideas as to get rid forever?

I assume you did a reboot?

If so, try another one.

Ive rebooted and rebooted....no luck at all!

It says the subsystem detected an RPC error?

RPC?

Bit of a guess, but it sounds like it needed to be connected to the net at the time.

I'm guessing though..
