you can use programs that change it and all they do is edit a notepad file that has the values stored in or if you find ityou can just put whatever number you want in

I'm stuck at 1.0 and wondered if anyone could help me at all. I would like Aero to be functioning and can't get the test to complete.

I have ATI CCC 9.3 installed, a AMD X2 5050e 2.6Ghz CPU, 4GB PC-6400 RAM, HD3200 Mobo (GA-MA78GM-S2H), 1TB WD Green Power 32mb Cache HDD.

It will not do performance index. Basically it starts the test and gets stuck about 3 seconds into it where it conducting the Aero Assesment. I have started the test in the morning before I left from work and it was still stuck there when i got home (9hrs later).

I'm wondering if there is an issue with the new ATI CCC 9.3 drivers??

Edit: does this hack above allow aero to run or is it just a visual hack that shows a pretty number for the egotistical people of the world

Any help would be great

try uninstalling the CCC drivers and CCC itsself and reinstall from the absoloute latest as if you look at my sig you have a very similar setup to me but i now have a 4850 - when i used onboard icould use aero though

I think that's what i will do, however, I already have the latest ATI drivers installed. I may have to install an earlier CCC edition like 9.1 or 8.11.

I'll keep trying but thanks for your help.

i said that before when people started posting win 7 scores and confusing others and my post was deleted

i assume they work on different scales as there is a larger scale or if something is say a 5.3 in vista will it be 5.3 in win 7?

Not sure, but i'm tempted to install win7 to find out my score. Problem is I cant be arsed to partition my HDD, nor Do I want to interrupt my RAID set up, nor Do I have a free HDD to install it on.

Guess i'll just have to wait till release and decide to change OS.
