Cool MCE Remote - can I change the settings?

My MCE remote works ok, but when I press some of the buttons it changes the channel on my Sony TV.

At the moment I have to cover the IR receiver on the front of the TV to stop it picking up the remote's signal. Obviously, that's pretty inconvenient and I'd like to sort it out once and for all.

Does anyone know of a way to reassign the remote's commands or somehow stop the TV doing this?

I can't get a new TV, before anyone suggests that.

Thanks

Thanks.

Other than a couple of TV buttons it doesn't look like there is any way to change the commands. Surely other people have the same problem? It's not like Sony is an obscure make.

I did manage to program the TV on/off and volume buttons. Took a few goes though

Still can't find a way to change the other codes unfortunately.
