Unable to get to Facebook....

Hi All,

Got a strange problem where I can't got onto the Facebook site.

All other sites seem ok, sometimes I get to the log in screen but normally just sits with a loading icon. I have also tried Safari but get the same....

I just have the windows essentials protection and have tried it with it turned off, but still no good.

Anyone had similar, or know the reason.....

Have you recently connected to the internet in China or other foreign countries? China poisons DNS to block Facebook and Twitter and sometimes it leaks. Try a traceroute to see if that sheds any light on the matter.

If that's the case, flushing your DNS cache should cure it.
