Safely Remove Hardware

My boss' laptop has Windows XP, and I notice when he right-clicks the little Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray he gets a context menu pop up that actually lists all connected USB devices and he simply chooses one to eject it.

On my work's PC (XP) and all my home PCs (Vista), right clicking that icon simply brings up a context menu and the only option is "Safely Remove Hardware", which I have to click to then bring up the dialog box listing my hardware.

His way is much easier, but he has no idea how his computer is set to do it.

Any ideas? (I guess a registry edit)

Thanks

Re: Safely Remove Hardware

When you get the Safely Remove Hardware dialog box, there should also be a checkbox that says Display Device Components. This is always off by default, clicking this should give you the extra information that your boss gets.
