Disable Vista Media Center Autoplay
Hi,
I'm running Vista Home Premium just for the Media Center. I have it set up pretty much OK - I can standby & resume with no problems!
The problem I have is with inserting a DVD; Vista Media Center will always Autoplay the DVD. Obvioulsy I can press "STOP" but it's annoying(!) and also when resuming from standby, if there's already a DVD in the drive it will autoplay which can cause the PC to hang.
I have AnyDVD & Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 installed - I have checked & disabled all autoplay options in these to no avail.
In MCE 2005 I'm sure a pop-up used to appear asking did i want to play the DVD, this doesn't happen in Vista Media Center.
How can I disable DVD Autoplay in Vista Media Center?
Thanks
