Removing watched folders on Media Center

I've just moved my videos from one NAS drive to another, so have had to change the watched folder (i had it as a mapped drive on Vista). I removed the old watched folder from the library setup screen, then added the new one, but the old one still shows up on the video library screen. How do i clear the old folders from the screen?

Re: Removing watched folders on Media Center

It's a Naslite USB server Details here
I've got a min-itx board in it at the minute, but have an Abit IC7-G/ Northwood 2.4 to go in when i get round to it as i am upgrading my home network to Gigabit (no real need to but what the hell) plus i want to add some serial ATA drives to the server.

Re: Removing watched folders on Media Center

Have you tried:

Going into Windows Media Player 11 (I assume you want to get rid of the old NAS drive from MCE), then check that your old NAS drive isn't still being monitored (I believe this option is under library from the options menu).

Now, while you're in options, check the library settings and make sure its NOT set to delete the file when removed from the library...

Now, exit options, and change the library from music to video view.. then change the library to folder view.. delete the old NAS drive.

now press F3 click ok and let it rescan your monitored folders (make sure add anything previously deleted is checked in advanced) to put anything you may have removed from the root folder deletion.

Re: Removing watched folders on Media Center

Cheers Pbryanw

I did look on The Green Button forums, but the search function doesn't seem too great (probably just me)
It worked a treat. I'd tried a couple times removing watched folders then re-adding them, so i'd ended up with multiple copies. Wonder if it'll get fixed in an update soon.
