Importing Email - Problems!

Vista is driving me nuts. I copied my email folders onto a USB flash drive (they are from Outlook Express on XP) and show up on the drive as .dbx files.

Vista won't let me access the folder where my emails need to be copied to and I have tried permissions, sharing etc. to no avail.

I then tried using file/import/messages within Vista's email programme but when I browse to the folder with my messages in it, it doesn't see them and tells me that there are no messages there!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Any advice would help my sanity.

Re: Importing Email - Problems!

I just checked the file properties and they are not marked as hidden.

BTW, I had to select the sub folders individually rather than import all folders to get it to work (something else which is counter intuitive).

Cheers mate!!!
