Smile problems with LIVE TV! Pls HELP!

ok so this is a complex one!

I have had live TV working fine for ages via a wireless AV link to my Sky box.

Program Guide Data has also been ok in the past.

Started to experience problems after installing Panda Antivrus. My Windows Update wasn't downloading and neither was my program guide data. They both said they could not detect an internet connection.

I had no other internet problems apart from these specific downloads. Seeing as they use the same server I figured it was a problem with Panda.

Managed to download a hotfix which solved both problems.

HOWEVER! now I have the following problems:

1. since then my Program Guide Data updates but when I attempt to view the Guide it comes up with this error
'No channels are available in the guide. Please go through set up'

2. when I go through setup, I can see the sky signal is fine during the channel changing test but when setup is complete I cannot go to Live TV

3. infact from the main menu and remote, I cannot even select Live TV, it just doesn't change screens or show the whirly egg timer loading thing!

Please help, cos I'm missing my TV!

Please don't tell me I need to reinstall everthing cos everthing else is sweet!

I have a brand new kick ass HP media center desktop!
