recommend a usb audio card with spdif out

After hours of faffing i have come to the conclusion that the audigy 2 card just wont output spdif to my receiver properly in my current sff pc, it works on a different pc fine. using the same copy of mce. had to fake a activation (too many hardware changes) but no worries there. dd dts passthru using same codecs.

So i thought i might as well get a usb audio card as long as there are no lip sync issues and install 2nd pci freeview card.

options please

Jon

I got myself an audigy 2 ZS USB2 sound card. the SPDIF is pefect out putting DTS and DD to my decoder when watching DVDs. No lip synch issues. i hahad to go this route due to my onboard SB Live causing overheating issues with my Graphics CArd when Gaming. I would recomend the solution

I had problems with my onboard nforce2 sound in my shuttle, and I bought a very cheap Creative Live 24bit USB2 card, and not had any problems since. You can use both type of digital out connecters, optical and coaxial.
