Problems with Hauppaugge 500MCE receiving signal from DVB
I have recently purchased one of these cards and installed it in my media centre, hoping I could output the signal from my Dreambox DVB via either co-axial or s-video. During the installation, it asks for an IR unit to be present. Can somebody shed any light on how I get the DVB outputting to my media centre without relying on the IR control or advise me on an IR unit to buy.
