They say there not doing OEM version but you no what Ms are like. that Retail Box Your looking at though has both 32/64bit versions and it is a full install not an upgrade , and recent changed you now get an option to install Browser ..
If your looking to Buy or thinking should i or should i not , imop Buy it as it will be £150 soon enough.. also you no, i have not seen any confirmation on dx11 being an update on Vista for a long while, even though Win7 is tweaked vista Ms playing the game again

Was very surprised when I looked on play.com recent. I got my order in when they where £49.99 but now play want 149.99

Not out till October is it cant wait to upgrade still on Windows XP at the minute.

Will need a lot of DVDS before then to save the contents of my hard drive for my clean install. 80gb in my laptop and only got 19.1 gb left

I ordered my copy from Dabs.ie 81 euro inc VAT and delivery. Just had an e-mail from Dabs a few weeks ago saying the following

Yeah, Oct 22nd to be precice.
Im already runnnig it but the Ultimate version so ill have to start all over.
Im just going to instal on the same partition so i dont need to back anything up. Saying that ill give the file transfer utility a go, might make life a bit easier.

It colud be your in a second batch or something like that.
As ive just posted im in no hurry but it would be a shame if MS do miss the launch date.

Only back up what you need. The junk- leave it as it will get deleted when you format the hard drive

I would suggest getting an external HDD or large USB flash drive for your backup - much easier & more reliable than multiple CD/DVD's. The external HDD can also be used for regular backups of all important data, which should be done to prevent loss of all your photos etc should the HDD in the PC fail (which they often do).

Gutted ! I went to pre-order a copy from JohnLewis today at £75 but I was told MS have ordered them to stop the promotion. I checked the website literally yesterday and it was still available, today however its gone

EDIT: Just seen the Tesco Deal.
