Art Style: Rotohex

Just seen the US WiiWare releases for today and another Art Style game has appeared, Rotohex.

As with both Orbient & CUBELLO, barely a scrap of information around the web on release, but both of those two games were very well received(I'm still addicvted to CUBELLO now) so hopefully this one will be good also.

Art Style: Rotohex (WiiWare)

Use colored triangular panels to create a vibrant mosaic of stained glass in Art Style: ROTOHEX. As triangles fall from the top of the screen, rotate them to group six panels of the same color and create a matching hexagon, or HEX. Once the HEX has been formed, it will disappear, allowing the existing panels to shift and more panels to fill the playing field. A clear-cut goal and two different styles of intuitive controls allow you to focus solely on the game play-which is vital, as the playing field will be full of panels before you know it. With multiple modes (unlock more as you progress further in SOLO mode), special item panels at your disposal, and the ability to play cooperatively or competitively with a friend, there will always be another HEX to create.

Once again 600 points, will wait for some more information before deciding if I should go for this one, have 800 points left over from Tetris Party, although I hate leaving a couple hundred points sat in my account.

Here we go then...

Not quite so convinced at the looks of this one, appears like a less attractive but more complicated Hexic HD. Will wait for a couple of reviews but if anything might go for Orbient instead as that looks more unique and interesting than this one to me.

Re: Art Style: Rotohex

TBH that looks like one of the numerous free internet flash games you play at work *cough* often hear about .

Certainly doesn't look like it's worth any points .
