Pop is out in the UK now and, after anticipating its release for the past few weeks I spent 700 points and downloaded it. So .. .. .. what's it all about then?

Point at the screen with your wiimote and press either A or B to burst a bubble while the timer runs down. Score points and add time for each bubble burst.. .. .. larger bubbles are worth less points and time than smaller ones on account of them being easier to hit.

Two modes of single player play apart from a tutorial .. .. .. basic where you keep going until you run out of time and advanced where you try to score 9,999,999 in the fastest time .

Multiplayer for up to 4 people.

Online leaderboards so you can measure your progress.

Good fun. Recommended.

I might get this, Ive just traded stars for a 1000 point code, was going to wait for the World of Goo thing but dont know when thats out, so might give this atry.

That isn't going to be released on WiiWare in PAL land now, they're going to release it as a boxed retail release(apparently with more content) for European regions, as opposed to the US/JAP regions that will receive the WiiWare version only....

Had a go on this on my nephew's Wii the other day.

A good fun game I must say. First attempt managed to bag about 3.6 mill (sounds like a lot but it isn't when you see the leaderboards ).

I'd say it's quite a good game single player, although I had more fun with multiplayer.

BTW, it's 110 blocks I think, so at least it's a small game (if you're (like me) having memory storage issues).

Back to the game, it reminds me a bit of GeoWars in that you end up concentrating and staring so hard at the screen that you forget to blink .
