Do you have a Nintendo Wii in your Household?

I want to get an idea of how many forum members have a Wii at home.
Whether it belongs to you, your partner or the kids, or if you plan to get one.

Yep, we own a Wii. It belongs to me but my wife has Wii Fit on it & uses it more than me. Although it hardly gets used as the other consoles (PS3 & Xbox360) get used much more.

Got one. Love it and use it lots.
Mostly for MW Reflex, Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band Beatles and Sports Resort right now.
Bought a Wii Fit and kind-of regret it.

Had one since day one, but I hardly ever turn it on. There were some games announced at E3 that will change that though!

I will get one when hell freezes over.

I have never played a computer or arcade game in my life and don't have the time to start now.

If I need to get fit, I put on my shorts and ride my bike

Yes, got one, but I hardly ever use it, except my son always has a go on it, Lego games, Ben 10, Ghostbusters etc. I would say the Wii is used 3 or 4 times per week so we have had our moneys worth out of it.

Bought my wife Wi Fit when it came out, but its just an expensive door stop gathering dust Having said all that, I did put Mario Kart on yesterday before kids got home and had a great time online with it and I am looking forward to Goldeneye coming out later in the year And I might get Super Mario Galaxy 2 soon.

I always use my PS3, nearly every day, for my COD, BFBC2 fix

I have to say that since I got my Xbox 360 18 months ago, the Wii has been relegated to predominantly being a 'party' machine; fun when friends are round.

The only game on the Wii that has compelled me to play as much as say Fallout 3 or Oblivion on the 360 (though nowhere NEAR as many hours) was Resident Evil 4, and this remains the only game I'm ever played through twice.

Interestingly though, I've decided to give Super Mario Galaxy 2 a go on the Wii, due to the onslaught of excellent reviews. I can normally draw my own conclusions from these reviews but I haven't read a bad word about it yet, and my first impressions are certainly good. Will I persevere with it though if I get, say, Mass Effect 2 for the 360 for Fathers Day? We'll see.

Furthermore, would I buy another Wii if this were to die or a newer version come out? I'm afraid that is likely to be a no, as much as I take my hat off to Nintendo for pushing the boundaries of gaming, unless they can expand their focus to include the more serious gamer. I would never say I was a hardcore gamer, but I do like my games to have a bit of 'weight' and this a rare commodity on the Wii.

I had one for about 7 months but got rid of it about a year ago now.

Just not enough decent games on it to keep my interest although i did enjoy Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart.

Always wanted one but know it wont ever get turned on.

I'll probably get the next one though if it's HD If the current Wii was HD, I would have one already, but I've got 360 and PS3, Move will do for me for now. Still get the Mario itch every now and then, NSMB DS tends to scratch that though

Had one since launch and have to be honest, it would have been sold ages ago if it wasn't so tempremental and seemingly on it's way out(graphic artifacts, locks-ups etc.), but.... Mario Galaxy 2 has got me right back into the little white box just lately and in turn I've got back into a few of my other Wii games aswell.

For the first time since I can remeber my Wii is actually stealing more of my gaming time than the Xbox360, think it may be staying that way for a while too, several Wii games just seem to appeal to me more than 360 games at the moment(Mario Galaxy 2, ExciteBots, Rabbids Go Home, Mario Kart), I guess due to their focus on fun and light-heartedness

Yep we haveone. The only game we play is Mario Kart. Love it.

It's the only game I can get the wife to play apart for some puzzle game on her DS.

Ours Wii has been here since they were launched, xmas 2006. And I have to say It has been worth every singal 18000 pennies

We have two young children and they can't get enough of it, they are always asking for it to be turned on.

I've spent some money on games as well I think we've got about 20 titles, and thats after I had a sell off of all the ones that weren't getting played.

All in all an awesome peice of kit that has provided me & my family with hours of endlesss fun & enjoyment

I've also had one since launch day and have had absolutely no mechanical problems with it whatsoever which isn't bad when compared with some of the more well-known consoles.

Yep, never, not even a game of pacman or before that, pinball. It could be an age thing or it could be that I feel there are better ways to waste my life until the grim reaper comes a calling.

My wife has never played one either.

We have two sons living at home and they have had the usual PSP, PSP2 XBox computer games etc etc but I find that listening to music on my hifi, taking photographs, watching DVDs, doing chores, yardwork, running repairs on the house, painting and decorating, cooking, eating, cleaning, detailing my black car and Mrs Red car, servicing cars, visiting elderly parental units, of I forgot, holding down a job in this terrible economic climate, and watching TV kinda fills my time and there is nothing left for 'puter games.

On long haul flights, I watch the movies, read a book, or listen to my Zen Vision M through my Hippo VB IEMs.

So I actually have access to hundreds of games and at least 3 working systems and have never once switched one on, my youngest son who is 17 spends at least 4 hours per day on some shootem up tho'

I also have access to 4 or 5 computers and as far as I know, none of them have any games loaded on them.
