wii console power cutoff problem

wii console power cutoff problem

Hi can anybody help me please!!
I purchased Nintendo wii on ebay,
when I connected power it showed right light (standby) but when I on the console it is cutting off completely like a trip
I assume it something related to the fan or a simple power problem,
can anybody helpme how to deal with this

Hi Thanks for your reply,
As soon as press the power button either on remote or power button on console it will turn a green just for sec and the whole system cut off.

I would contact the seller on ebay and ask them for a refund soudns like a duff conole to me, i never buy electrical good from ebay anymore as i have had a few problems with them before with peole selling dodgy items.

Could be a whole load of problems. Try the following suggestions from Nintendo:

| Nintendo - Customer Service | Wii - Power Problems

Also some people say it could be the fan. Replacing the fan could be an option as well but I don't know how tech savvy you are...
