Question "Input not supported" for one, specific game

I've been playing my Wii, which has been connected to my 19" Acer X193W. I've been playing a lot of different games on it. I bought a game today, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. I expected to play the game, but I got an error message saying, "Input not supported." All of my other games worked like Mario Kart, Muramasa, and Zelda.
I find it really weird.
I plan on buying a new monitor, an HD monitor (not for the sake of this one game; just in general). Would that change anything? I've tried it on my regular HDTV, and the game plays fine. Is there something wrong with my Acer monitor?

that game doesn't support 480p, but sends a 480i signal (interlaced) to your monitor, which doesn't deinterlace (most monitors cant do that) .try your tv
