connect wii with old TV or digi box

hi,
I have old tv and the tv has two scart sockets and my digi box works perfectly with tv when i connect it to tv scart , recently i have bought wii and trying to plug in same tv scart where i use to connect digi box but it doesn't work .Also in my digi box i have vcr scart socket, i have tried to connect to that too but no luck so far. can some please help me connect wii to tv .
