Bought annimal crossing and wii speak second hand so didnt get the download code from the package now i have spoke to ninty and they said i cant have a download code becuase i cant prove i bought it new even though one of their head honchos saying in an article dont worry if you have bought second hand we will give you one
so they want either the DL code or a reciept showing the original purchase

I told ninty that i downloaded the code on my other wii which has bricked maybe not the best lying and trying to blag but hey ho

Anyone have any problems like this or anyone fancy giving me a reciept scan

if not, go buy it from a shop, use that receipt then take it back to the shop!

bought a seperate wii speak from argos so have a code now then ill just return it to argos say had 2 as a present

It's not something I would do and if I did I certainly wouldn't be posting it on a forum. It's all very well buying a new one, taking the code and returning it but as already mentioned if someone else ends up buying it they will be out of luck. Not to mention the morality issue of it.

I agree, lying to say that you need a new code to Ninty is one thing (many folk blag a bit when it comes to customer service ) but returning it to Argos so that the next punter gets stuffed is morally questionable at best and not something you should really be discussing here .
It seems like you've already made your mind up on what to do though, so this thread will be closed.
