The AVForums MarioKart Klub is looking for regular players, so anyone looking to join a full private room once every week, feel free to join in and post your FC here and i'll add you. If anyone joins and doesn't race for months on end, I'll remove them from the list so that newcomers aren't filling up their friends list unecessarily. If you are removed and want to play again, just let me know and I'll add you back on.

NEXT SCHEDULED RACE: Friday 10th September 2010 at 9:00pm GMT

NUMBERS PERMITTING - ideally 6 are needed, but we could do with about 8 or more in case people drop out. The more the better! Please do post in the forum thread if you are racing on that Friday, as it give me a chance to get an idea of numbers, and also means i won't start the races without anyone.

The room will be available on a first come first served basis, so be there at 9pm! Racing commences at 9:05pm to give everyone a chance to get sorted.

Because the random track choice isn't very random, please choose a track, otherwise we end up racing the same one 2 or 3 times. Once it has been played, it can't be chosen again (in order to add variety to the evening!)

No choosing tracks randomly!

Well that has to be the worst night of Mario Karting for me, EVER!! Every time i got a decent power up, something would happen to me and i'd lose it! And if i gained from it, something would happen to me straight after! I can't believe i had 4 last places in the last Championship! Oh well, maybe next time......

Is it safe to assume that Friday is the best day for most people then? If so, we'll meet up every Friday. I'm going to start it at 9 instead of 8 though, as i only just made the start. I get in from work at about 7, so doesn't leave me much time to get something to eat, get changed, settle down etc.

Yes,we had the “red rears ” again this week.Ironic,with a name like Headbutt(redbutt?). It's a shame there's no 'red rear"phrases in the message room between races like"who had the red rear that race?"or I had the red rear that time!' Or" Grr! Red Rear!"

By get changed you mean like put on your full racegear? Like fireproofsuit, safetyhelmet etc.?

Hi folks it was good fun last night, however I am still not very good.

I had most of you from the last thread and I have updated the codes I did not have, Friday is not normally a great night for me, but I will try to meet up every now and then.

Anyhow regarding last night what the point in getting the bullet when you are at the back of the field zooming almost all the way to the front and the damn thing runs out over the lava.

Bad luck. It sometimes happens. I've had a few where it changed back to me on a corner or something, so i end up falling off or hitting something and coming to a standstill, while i watch everyone i just passed pass me again! Hey ho.

I've posted details of the next race in the first post of this thread by the way, so anybody who wants to join, just let me know so we can get an idea of numbers (i like to race with about 7 people or more)

I've set it for 9 rather than 8 this time, as a 3 hour sessions just seemed a little to much. 2 hours is much better, especially if things aren't going very well!

As Irma stated: count me in, if I'm home on time I will join at 9pm or else I'll join later.

David if 3 hours is too much for you and 2 hours too short maybe we can start at 8:30pm? I don't mind playing 2 or 3 hours.
