Hey guys,

If you still play Mario Kart Wii regularly post in here and add your Friend Code (if it's not already in your sig.)

I'm online 2 or 3 nights a week and would be cool to see a couple more of you online regularly.

Actually as soon as I saw the title of this thread(before I read the mod plea bit

) I thought to myself this is a good idea as I think the other list contains mostly inactive/retired racers now, so no problems keeping it seperate(will edit the thread title now

).

Feel free to add me to the list, think I still have quite a few ?'s on my list so have room for a good few extra players. Don't play MarioKart much these days but could easily be tempted back on if I see a few meet-ups happening again. Of course I can only join worldwide matches & will be locked out of the regional ones.

Took a huge battering with my online points when me and my mate were playing, I always use the wheel so normally set it to automatic, but set it to manual by mistake and my handling was terrible, took me ages to realize why. Kept telling my mate "Seriously, Im normally good at this" lost a couple of thousand in a few races

I'd also be up for playing online regularly guys, my Mario Kart code is on my signature. Maybe we could set up a regular night and time for playing and maybe message each other's Wii consoles or in here to confirm. That way there will always be fresh meat available for me to lose to lol.

Right i'm going to go and clear all the dead wood from my code list and add everyone from the list, i'll pm any folk who post after me to let them know i've added them.

So if I see any of you chumps still down as ? in a couple of days time i'm going to come and knuckle dust you, then i'll name and shame you for posting in the so called active thread

I assume you guys set up a room to join, rather than just join existing rooms?

I'm on most nights, usually racing against the girlfriend and occassionally my kids, so may not be able to join in races myself, but feel free to butt in on any i may be playing.

I'll add the lot of you tonight and I'm gonna keep updating list on first post.

Do any of you funky folk fancy getting together tomorrow night at around 6:30pm? If so PM me. If there's enough of us I'll set up a room at 6:30pm if not we can just join the online community. Either way I'll post on here just before hand to let people know whether a room will be set up or not. I'm suggesting PM to try and avoid cluttering up this thread.

Also if any of you want to play online but figure you might not make it in time or something, let me know in PM and I'll probably give out my MS Messenger address.

I normally get on about 10pm as with 2 kids and the wife needing to watch her soaps

(and me footie if it's on) tend not to be any earlier than that.

As with many of my online Wii games timing is normally the problem

. I still get to race 3 or 4 times a week but usually when everyone else is asleep .. .. .. .. between the hours of midnight and 2am (UK time).

If anyone is likely to be around during those hours I'll post up my FC and we can at least be in the same races even if there's not enough people online to warrant a room.

Yeah, it was great when we had the regular weekly races going(we were using Halo3 lobby for voice comms aswell which worked a treat), shame it died off after a while.

Would be up for making a weekly night for it, weekends aren't ideal though as now I have my 360 back I'll no doubt find myself addicited to GoW online again, any other night of the week would work for me though, will see what happens and availablility of others

Whn the new update comes with the 8 way dash chat, that may make it accessible for the people that didnt have Halo3. Heres hoping any way. Friday was a bad night for me TBH. Lets hope this works out

Been Karting for about a month on the Wii but since the dawn of time on SNES etc.
Only just found this thread but playing against some 'real' people sounds aces.
Im not saying my girlfriend isnt a great player (ahem) but hopefull there will be some stiffer competition from you guys.

Anyway my FC is 2449-6933-9356 (ill be playing as Nicki Gee)

Hope i catch up with some of you online soon. (as it were).

Im usually on 2 or three times a week at the mo varying times from early to late evening so always worth checking!

No worries.

All:

Not too many PM's so wont bother setting up a private room. Instead I'm going to join Nicki Gee online, so if you have us registered aim for us. Any problems (race full) then guess can just say on here (I'll check between races) and maybe we can drop out or something.

Have fun.

EDIT: If you get annoyed by failing to connect to friends game, go through the process of joining but don't select Automatic or manual (but make sure you have your preferred method highlighted). Then when it plans on allowing you to join the, timer will count down from ten seconds. Just be ready. Saves having to keep attempting to connect and going through rigmorale of selecting character/vehicle etc...

I'm afraid I'm gonna get out while the going's good (or appallingly bad lol). Obviously my lack of race wins is down to some dodgy component in my Kart rather than my poor racing skills. I shall return victorious!!
