Hi again! Is anybody here sick and tired of leading the whole match just to get hit by a blue shell just at the last corner!!! I know I am.... I know it is part of the game but I just want an online race where skill is involved!!! Im going to make a game at 9-30pm tonight, anybody on my friend roster join and anyone on their friend roster join and so on...
We will have matches where although items will still be there you CANNOT use them... I know it sounds corny but it is pure skill only involved

I admire the thought behind the suggestion.

One likely problem is that as theres no voice chat, unless you get a lobby completely full of AVF friends who have had a chance to read the message, the likelihood is that someone wont know/realise that the non use of "special items" is in effect.

I dont have any problem with the thought behind the idea myself and would be game for a laugh, though I wonder what your feelings are about such things as the mushrooms dotted about that arent in boxes ? some of these are actually hard to avoid deliberately.

Mushrooms.. Huh?? Ohhh they are only there if a person with a Mushroom gets hit.... Hmmmm.. Iget your first bit and yeah it is a good point... Maybe if people come in they have to say something so I know they understand 'no items'...

I wonder if enough people were to email Ninty, they could provide an update at some stage for some more tailoring of online games/options for hosts ?.

As previously stated, the blue shell is the absolute worst one of the lot and one I wouldnt have a problem seeing the back of:though it hasnt stopped me using it once or twice.

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if they did change some of it if enough people emailed... If they can run their own competitions surely they can release a little update... You would think so anyway.
