Hi, hope someone can help a novice. looking to connect the wii to internet, have netgear wgr614 router, going through the steps it seems to work ok and finds the device, it asks for a password...ummm, i'm unstuck there, what password ?
I try various things and it comes up with error 51330, cannot conect to internet.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in laymans terms,

Your router is set up with some type of encryption and the wii needs the password to connect.

Type http://192.168.1.1/start.htm into your browser and that will bring up the router page.

Log in with username "admin" and password "password", if you haven't changed them.
Then click on wireless settings.
You'll then see Security options which will tell you what type of encryption you're using (I think the Wii will ask you) and the passphrase. That's the bit you want.
If it's asterisked out and you don't know it, I think you can just change it, but I'm not sure.
