Wii sports problem

Hoping someone can help.
Our daughter's Wii is only about 6 months old, barely gets used an hour a week.
She's styarted complaining that Wii sports won't load.
Wii resort, which I believe is on the same disc, loads fine.
Any ideas?

Have you checked the disc for scratches and fingerprints?

Yes, looks fine.
If the disc was dodgy, would it load Wii resort?
Different part of the disc?

I didn't know Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort came on the same disc as mine are on separate discs.
The only thing you could do is if possible try the disc in another Wii and see what happens or contact Nintendo and see what they say.

It's within 12 months so contact Nintendo UK directly and they'll replace the disc free of charge
