I just read this: Gaming - News - Wii exercise bike game unveiled - Digital Spy

It says that an exercise bike themed game is coming to the Wii early next year. The game come with a full-size exercise bike and involves you riding round various courses using various vehicles.

I have to say that at first I thought this was a joke as it just sounded so bizarre but upon further reflection, I must admit, I'm actually liking the sound of it. You can already get something similar to this at some gyms so I guess this is just a home version.

Plus I'm glad there's finally a game out there that allows us gamers to actually sit down while we're playing. Praise be indeed!

In other news, the dumbbell game sounded less ridiculous and so I have deducted marks off for that.

my initial thoughts were 'wow the hubby will love this as he's been wanting a fintess bike in the house for a while and one hooked up to our wii would be gret'

but then I thought. The game only comes with one bike, how much are extra bikes going to cost, as there would be no point in us buying something like this unless we had two bikes and could hook them up to the wii.

And January? Don't they want to gain more business over the chrismas period.

If this isn't a joke and is at a decent price, then (assuming online reviews for this are good) Im very tempted to buy

Nintendo says their inflatable seat can be used to simulate riding other animals. The patent lists “bulls, camels, elephants, burros, dolphins, whales” and imaginary creatures such as “dragons, griffons, unicorns, giant eagles” as possible mounts. Nintendo also suggests the seat can be used for vehicles too like “hang gliders or other aircraft, a magic carpet, a motorcycle, a jet-ski, a land or sea exploration vehicles.”
