Is it possible to purchase Wii Sports Resort without Wii MotionPlus

I already own two motionplus add-ons but would like to buy WSR without the motionplus.

Does anyone know of somewhere this is possible? Game, GameStation, Amazon and Play don't offer the game on its own!

I saw this in Tesco and pretty sure it was the game only as it didn't state anywhere that it came with anything other than the game and the box clearly said in big letters that it required the motionplus to work. Altough it was about £38 so rather pricey for just a game.

As far as I'm aware you can't buy WSR as just a solo game without the M+ adapter. I think you'll have to either bite the bullet like the rest of us and buy the game with motion plus or wait a while and see if you can buy it second hand without the peripheral. I was in the same boat as you as I had bought two motion plus adapters before any of the motion plus games were released and I've ended up buying WSR and have an extra M+ that I don't really need.

Greg I saw that copy of the game in Tesco's too and it does come with M+ as all copies do.

It's only sold with MotionPlus and only will be. Wii Sports REsort is a big opportunity for Nintendo to get the MotionPlus in as many Wii owners hands as possible in order to maximize market penetration. That is too much of an incentive for them to sell a solus version of the game. That's the reason why I bought Tiger Woods with the MotionPlus and didn't buy an extra one separately as I knew I was going to get Wii Sports Resort.

All you guys who already have the motionplus, don't forget there should be a healthy market for the resale of it. The Wii Sports Resort only comes with one doesn't it? So there should be a lot of people wanting to buy another motionplus.

Anyone looking to just get the game only without the MotionPlus attachment may want to look out for the promo version. As long as you're happy to have it in a card board sleeve similar to the way that Wii Sports comes in you can pick it up cheaper. I would try Ebay and your local independent game store. I picked it up from my local independent store for £22 which is at least about a £17 saving on the full retail package. I already have it but I got it for my Nephews who already have a MotionPlus attachment.
