Had a wii for a while but always seem to buy new games for my 360. Now I'm thinking I need to get some fun 2 player games for the wii to get the girlfriend involved too.

Excite truck is cool but if your patient Excitebots should, hopefully, be making an appearance soon.

If you are both over 18 and not easily offended by violence, gore, extreme bad language, sexual innuendo and deviant sexual practices () then give House of the Dead: Overkill a go. (Of course a couple of Hand Cannons would make the experience so much better.)

Perhaps the daddy of Wii multiplayer Mario Kart is great fun both on and offline.

I'd add Guitar Hero World Tour to that list and when it eventually comes out, Rock Band 2. Both will require you to buy the appropriate wireless guitar peripheral and drums if you want to play the drums - which could prove costly. However, I'm sure you could pick them up relatively cheap second-hand or off the net. Then there's Super Smash Bros Brawl which is fantastic, providing of course you don't mind crazy, platform-based, beat-em-up's/fighting games.
