Basically I just reset the unit to factory defaults put in sip and username and pswd and it came to life.
I have just received the following mail from Linksys for uk settings, hope it may help some :
The problem is that the adapter gives the American-style alert tone instead of UK-style when others call your VoIP number.
To correct this you have to customize the PAP2T's regional settings using its web-based utility. To access it, type
http://IP_Address_of_the_PAP2T on the address bar of Internet Explorer.
How to Check the IP Address of the PAP2T
1. Dial ****110 and follow the voice prompts.
2. If you are not getting a valid IP address, turn off the PAP2 for 30 seconds.
I have outlined below the most of the regional settings specific for UK. Go to Admin login then Advanced view. Click the Reginal tab to view and select the appropriate settings.
