No V+ menu or TV guide

Just back home after a two week break and find when I press the V+ button on the remote nothing happens. Also when I press OK, then the green button to access the TV guide again nothing. The light on the V+ box flashes indicating that the remote is sending and the box is receiving.

I've tried switching the box off then on again and also pressing the reset button on the front of the box, then I get a message saying - "V+ is currently unavailable, try resetting the box"

It started happening while I was away and before I call Virgin I was hoping someone would have a solution?

TIA

I Had the same problem. I found it to be the scart cable was in the wrong socket in the back of the V+ box.

It still goes into the menu's evan though you can't see it.

This has been working fine from last October. It only went wrong about a week or so ago and its connected to the TV by an HDMI cable.
