On Demand Question

Hi Everyone, not been on this forum before, but I have a very odd question.
I have been on the Medium package for all 3 services and thought I'd plaay with on-demand a bit. Now here is the funny thing. I can access a lot of on-demand content that I am not subscribed to. For example, I can view Nick Jr shows and I have not subsribed to Nick Jr - It says that I am subsribed to this service and allows me to watch? Am I going to get a horrible bill at the end of the month? At no point did the machine ask if I wanted to pay for something. On the movie on-demand however there are costs next to each film.

Anyone any ideas?

Kind Regards

Re: On Demand Question

All the movies do cost regardless of what package you have. But if your TV package is XL (or could be L as well) then the VOD programs come up as subscribed (free to view). Enjoy.

Re: On Demand Question

wow that was quick! Thanks for your post - But I have checked my bill - and I am definitely on M -TV. I do not pay for TV its the free one which I get as I am on a Phone/Broadband deal.

If I had to pay extra - wouldn't it be obvious - like ask me a question or something?

kind Regards

Re: On Demand Question

Here's what Virgin Media say

Quote:
TV Choice on demand - Included with TV Size: XL, available for £7 a month with TV Size: M and L
Complete series to watch at your leisure - you can even watch them all in one go! Includes favourites for everyone such as Grey's Anatomy, The Sopranos, Life on Mars, Postman Pat and Planet Earth
from http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...and/index.html

I take it that your getting a bonus, but I doubt it will last.

Re: On Demand Question

I was in a similar situation to you as I found that I had free access to the TV On Demand content for free when I was on the L TV package. Seeing as I had a 'special offer' bundle, I wonder if the OD was included as part of the offer but they just didn't point it out.

Re: On Demand Question

Thanks you all for your replies.
I can only think that it is a mistake. sotonjoe, how long did the 'special' offer last for? The VOD service actually looks quite good! (But then I have sky+ as well and if they charge 7 pounds for the service, then I may as well pay an extra 3 pounds and get multi-room instead)
