They are showing it, in HD on sky sports 3, so im guessing instead of taking the normal SD from WWF, they are taking the HD and downscaling it for Sky Sports 3 meaning you get a better quaility picture.

Re: WWF RAW on Sky Sports 3.

doesn't look very downscaled to me.

Either way, hope they do this for the premiership this year

prolly asking too much tho lol.

Still shows we can get HD in some form or another from SKY on VM

Just goes to show that if SD is implemented properly it can still look great. Shame most of the SKY SD channels are not much better than a VCD!

Its more then likey the feed they were getting from the US had to be converted to pal and was proberly a low bitrate and now they are taking a high quaility feed so even downscale will mean a lot less converting and loss in bit rate plus its filmed on better higher quaility cameras

If you look at home HD programs that they use HD masters and just downscale to broadcast them (like lost for example) the picture on it is a lot better then some SD programs

While we're on about quality looking SD on the V+ box, did anyone see Bad Boys 2 the other week on Five US? It looked awesome through the V+ box. I was amazed by the quality!
