PLease help - NTL sound problem

OK, Got NTL today - got the Pace box which has the L & R out - so hooked it up to my amp.. however, I have a problem - certain channels are making my speakers crackle - BBC one is one of them - the bloke that installed everything turned the internal volume of the box up to +10 (from +2) which I have a feeling might be the reason the crackling is happening - however, I cannot work out for the life of me how to access the sound settings of the box to turn the internal volume back down again - can anyone please please please help?

Thanks

Sami

Most NTL digital installations use Samsung Boxes. You problem is really to do with NTL and you should be contacting them for an engineer to sort it out. My experience of, rare, problems is that they are round within 24 hours.
