connecting tvdrive to 2 displays

Hi all, getting the tvdrive next month and i was hoping to hook it up mainly to my (soon to be purchased) projector and also to an lcd tv (which is in the room next door, so whats the best way of going about this?

Is there a better way than using the RF out, which is a bit pants!

At present im planning on using the component out to my amp then to the projector.

Im not bothered about being able to change channel from the other room, just getting a decentish picture.

Two outputs

Do you want the output to the LCD TV to be HD? Does it have DVI or HDMI inputs? Is the projector HD?

Projector will be HD, but using component rather that HDMI as im saving that socket for HD-DVD (although i guess i could use it for now.

Anyway, the other tv is mainly for the kids, so HD not that important but if its possible i will go for it.
Not decided on the LCD tv yet, it will at least have DVI and component inputs though.

You may have a problem.

If the TVDrive is connected to a TV using HD (HDMI or Component) all the other outputs, including RF, are switched off.

Not quite all, you can still use composite via the VCR scart socket.

Although the composite output on "live" tv is distorted. It looks like there are alternate lines missing and the picture flickers very badly.

If you play back a recording made on the TVDrive HDD via the vcr scart then the picture is ok.
