Petition for Telewest enable multiple outputs.

I for one would dearly love the TV Drive to output RGB when HDMI is selected to allow me to feed another set. In my case I use a digisender to send the picture to my bedroom so I can watch TV in bed. I am not interested in watching two different channels at a time so I have no need for another box. Plus I dont want any more wires. The TV Drive is an excellent piece of kit and this feature would be the icing on the cake.

How as customers can we influence Telewest. Could we start a petition via this thread or elsewhere?

ps: the digisender works great even with 2.4ghz wireless router, 2.4ghz cordless phones dotted around the house, and the microwave on.

so u want Telewest to allow you to have one box but beam their signal to more than one TV?

never gonna happen, they would loose too much money.

Sky

I can currently do it with telewest RGB / RGB, but not HDMI / RGB or Component / RGB so allowing another output while an HD output is enabled wont make any difference to how much i pay Telewest, except save me having to change the output when I go to bed.

Hardly good business sense when they want people to rent more than one box from them, they have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

At least you can output composite via the VCR scart.

I use HDMI for my HD ready projector, & scart for my CRT TV. My Arcam DVD player can act up a bit if the HDMI is still connected when using scart. The Arcam DV29 DVD player is mainly built with the idea of using one quality output. However, my old Denon 3910 would output HDMI, interlaced component, & RGB scart simultaneously no problem. If it were possible it would be easier if I didn't have to keep changing when I go to & from my projector & TV.

My understanding is that multiple outputs cannot be enabled when using HDMI because that is one of the conditions with HDCP

So does that mean if you want to connect it to a DVD recorder /VCR you only get composite?
