TVDrive from Cable Modem

Hello all,

I've taken the plunge today and ordered TVDrive also. Hopefully someone would know the answer to a quick question I have.

I want the TVDrive in a bedroom where my cable modem connection is. Will they be able to use this coax cable (by splitting it some way) to supply the TVDrive box also? My main setup is downstairs, but I really want to avoid drilling additional holes if possible.

I'm planning on buying the Hyundai Imagequest A321 LCD to go with this. Someone had mentioned in the A321 thread (in the LCD section) they had used this panel with the TVDrive, but just wondered if anyone had any other experiances with this setup? I'm not totally sold on the A321 yet, so if anyone has any other suggestions for TVs in the £600 price mark please let me know

Thanks

Gordon,

they will be able to use your exsisting coax cable, they will just use a 2 way spliiter.

Can't really help with your other question sorry

Excellent, thanks essjay. I was worried I was going to have TW guys drilling more holes to get the new box working.

The TV Drive looks great on the A321 - even with a cheap HDMI-DVI cable from Ebay.

BBC logo is not cropped in any way (in fact there's room to spare!) and picture quality is excellent - even standard definition stuff looks superb - particularly BBC.

Other people have various moans about the TV drive (long channel change times etc.) but I'm generally very impressed with this setup.

Thanks mate - I'm hoping my A321 will have the HDMI port, so won't need the cable, but good to hear it works well anyway.

Cheers,

A cheap HDMI cable? Why would you buy an expensive HDMI cable...?
