Thank you Telewest

2 years ago I bought the infocus x1 to watch the last euro cup disaster. I had all sorts of problems hooking a good tv feed to it, constantly buying new gadgets and never being satisfied at what everyone else said was a good picture . Then TvDrive arrived and Wow what a picture beautiful in hi def & fantastic in sd . The 720p signal looks stunning , breathing new life into the x1. I can understand some people finding faults with TvDrive. But all I can think about is .........WORLD CUP.... HI DEF.... 90inch screen........WORLD CUP .......... ENGLAND... .ENGLAND....

I have to agree too. I feel sorry for everyone who has been having problems with Telewests TVDrive.

Mine works great. The only problem was the HDMI cable was too short to 'look nice'. No problems though as I had a new 5 metre one delivered the next day by a kind fella off eBay.

Come on you lads!!!!

Looking forward to some decent football after watching an abismal Sunderland this season (<-- ex Mackem)

Could I ask you what connections you used between X1 and TVDrive?

Resolution isn't everything. My Arcam DV29 DVD player gives the BBCHD stuff a run for it's money. Almost as good in many scenes, but obviously certain shots give the game away. Also, Lost via the TV Drive upscaled is really very good on my projector.

I saw some Euro 1080 staellite material on an Infocus 5700, which is SD, & that definitely showed an improvement, even tho it wasn't an HD projector.
