PWD8 and Telewest H.D.

Just got T.V.Drive installed.Very disappointed to see that I have now no option on my PWD8 but to view in 16:9 and that all 4:3 broadcasts cannot be stretched to fit. This was allowable on broadcasts with the old box. Is this a problem with my screen or the Telewest software? I would be obliged for your help since I didn't buy a 42 inch screen to see at least 33% of it blacked out on a number of programmes.

By HDMI cable to the HDMI board that I bought for the PWD8. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

Thanks Max. I had seen that thread but wondered if anyone could definitively confirm that it was not a PWD8 problem in not being able to change the aspect. Thanks anyway.

I could be wrong, but I think this is a HDMI problem currently with the TVDrive. If you connect using component I think it should work oK.
Obviously the other alternative would be to get a Video Processor (Lumagen/DVDO etc) which will enable you to set your own aspect ratio
