Anyone know difference in channels (HD) offered on Sky compared to Telewest

Does anyone know what HD channels are being offered on TVDrive compared to Sky HD?
Telewest said they can install in a week while Sky in a month.

Also I have been told by Sky that the Sky Plus functions will work on HD box (except live pause) without a Sky Plus dish setup - i live in communal flat building and only have basic dish installed and could be a hassle getting permission to get extra wire down from dish.

Has anyone else been told this?

By the way Sky HD offer 30 day trial but Telewest don't (both have 12 month contract.

I have a communal dish (without Sky+, i.e. only one feed to each property) and was told by Sky that I would not be able to use the Sky+ feature without an extra feed. However I understand I may be able to actaully record what I am watching - but I would not be able to record other channels or use the live pause features.

News to me. I have customers on a 30 day trial with Telewest, none on a trial with Sky which isn't available until 22nd May at the earliest anyway.

I would also like to know if this is true as I am not bothered with recording other channels
