Hi All,

I mentioned this a few weeks ago when I first got my SONY 710. Tried to fix it but to no joy..

I have a PACE NTL box connected to LINE3 input of my Sony. I want to be able to record & view NTL through my Sony Recorder...though whilst I AM getting video there doesn't appear to be any audio getting through when viewing through the box on LINE3.

Any ideas people, anyone had a similar problem with their NTL or SKY box?

Just had another look at mine. There is no audio type settings that you can change from the ntl box, so if there is an issue it must be the in the reception of the 710.

In settings (audio) I have
Audio ATT off
Audio DRC standard
Downmix Dolby surround
Digital out off (I use a separate DVD player).

Then also
Line1 out RGB
Line3 in video/RGB
Line3 out video

These are just the defaults I believe.

Have you tried a different scart cable to make sure there is no issue in the cable itself?
