what wireless video sender for NTL digibox?

as topic - i recently got a lcd telly for the bedroom, and as a result i want to extend the ntl from the living room into there. I'm aware that lots of the normal wireless video transmitters dont send back the remote signals - has anyone got one they can reccomend? cheaper the better

Cheers

Hugh

ps. i'm on an old-style ntl digibox (black job. pace i think)

Well I use the One for All 1720 model for sending my Sky+ signal to a couple of different rooms. It sends composite & RGB and transmits the remote codes back.

I picked up mine for about £50 from ebay

ahh the problem is that ntl/telewests remote use a higher frequency of ir (or something) so most transmitters do not pick it up.

*sigh*

Do you know what frequency the cable IR uses? According to One for All's website the 1720 supports up to 60Hz

The Medion video sender from ToysRus works with NTL remotes. Unfortunately their website is out of stock at the moment, no doubt because they're only asking £9.99 for it at the moment (I paid twice that for mine!)

You need the AEI Digisender Gold (Used by myself) which allows upto 4 inputs & will also send the remote control signal. Rather steeply priced at approx £119 I believe but if you use it to its full capability well worth the money.
